Who is this for?

If you have other health coverage through another plan or through a spouse's plan, you'll need to tell us.

A Medicare Advantage plan replaces Original Medicare. It offers all the benefits and adds more.

But if you have an individual Medicare Advantage plan you can't have coverage from any other health insurance plan.

If you do have other individual coverage, please contact us and we can tell you what to do.

Some group Medicare Advantage plans allow some coordination of benefits other health coverage. And in some cases there are Coordination of Benefit forms you must complete. Please call your plan's administrator to find out about coordination of benefits.

Tip: Medicare supplement policies can't work with Medicare Advantage plans. If you have a supplement policy and join a Medicare Advantage plan, you need to drop your supplement policy. Your supplement plan policy can't be used to pay your Medicare Advantage plan copayments, deductibles and premiums.
